Classic Snipe Rally at Winchester Boat Club on Mystic Lake

The Snipe in front (with boat cover) was built in 1939, the middle Snipe is the first Chubasco Snipe built in 1966, and the blue one in back was built in1945. The other boats coming were built in the 1950s and 1970s, so all decades from 1930s-70s will be represented. Very cool!

Jack Gannon’s 16333 (middle) and Roy Terwilliger’s 3258 (foreground) join Bill Tierney’s 5481 as the first three wooden boats at Winchester Boat Club’s Classic Snipe Rally. Seven more to arrive by the weekend’s festivities.
