1948 Russell’s Boat Works Snipe #6976

Near sisterboat to my Snipe #6715.  #6976 is being modernized and restored now in New Bern, North Carolina USA,  these two Snipes are the only ones that still exist (as far as I know) of six that were built by Russell’s Boat Works (Miami, Florida) in 1947-48.  A couple of the other boats wound up in the Atlanta, Georgia and Tennesee Snipe fleets, then went to Illinois and parts unknown after they were sold.
