The UK nationals were held at the beautiful LLyn Brening reservoir in Wales.
We have a new UK national champion..Ian Gregory has been sailing snipe since the age of 15 and with crew Mike Kerr coming out of snipe retirement for the nationals they made a great team.

The first day was very wild with lots of capsizing , Ian and Mike were the most consistent team that day with all 3 races scoring 4th places . With the wind dropping to a very light breeze on Saturday 2 races were held before the wind finally died.
Sunday saw a nice 8-10knots of wind and a further 2 races before the predicted storm arrived in time to soak those who were slow packing their boats away.
Well done to Ian and Mike!
