This is a Thompson-built Snipe of the early 1940s, recently acquired by a Thompson wooden boat enthusiast and collector, photographed recently in front of the old Thompson boat building plant where it came from over 70+ years ago. Thompson plant is in Wisconsin, midwestern USA
