Boat Builders of Pinellas County

Here’s a link to a nice informative video on the planned construction and history of the new boat shop at Heritage Village (Largo, Florida USA), featuring Clark Mills boats including Francis Seavy’s 1948 classic Mills-built Snipe #6995 “Honey”, the Optimist pram, Windmill-class sailboats, and other sailboats designed by Clark Mills. Snipe sailors around the world will be interested in this new facility.

I have corresponded with Gene Fleming, a relative of Francis and Naomi Seavy. Well-known US Snipe sailor Frank Levinson is also mentioned in this video for his co-ownership, with Clark Mills, of Clearwater Bay Marine Ways, where some planked and a number of winning plywood Snipes were built.
