14 Questions to … Tobias Chroneer

Tobias Chroneer, Snipe Sailor from Sweden - 1) Your first time on a sailing boat? I believe I was only a small baby sailing with my parents in their small open sailboat. - 2) Your first time on a Snipe? May 2006, me and my wife had been sailing Starboat but felt we needed a change and a boat were we would be able to be competitive in all kind of weather. (This was before we realized how hard it is to find the speed in a Snipe...) We were trying a friends Snipe in less wind than no wind... He kept telling us that Snipesailing is cool and we are still joking about it, especially when we are standing ashore waiting for wind - 3) The most bizarre thing that happened in a regatta? Star European Championship in Varberg 2005 race no. 3 (I think) in heavy weather and sea. We managed to come back to shore in one piece but there were a "few" boats that didn´t... We will never forget the downwind sailing that day.
