Carol Cronin/Kim Couranz won the event after posting a string of firsts. Cara Vavolotis/Erin Pierce struggled a bit in the light air the first day, but then turned on the consistency to finish second. A tie for third was won by San Diego sailors Aine McLean Fretwell/Aimee Heim.

Top juniors Charlie Bess/Kristen Walker, who finished fifth overall, ended the regatta with a 1,2.

The regatta was the qualifier for the women’s slot at the Western Hemisphere and Orient Championship in November 2012, hosted by Yacht Club Olivos in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
