Comodoro Rasco Results, Final

Two races in Sunday’s 5-9 knot southeeasterly breeze wrapped up the 2012 Comodoro Rasco at Coconut Grove Sailing Club in Miami, FL. With a 3,2, Carol Cronin/Kim Couranz won the event over Hal Gilreath/Amy Benner. At the trophy presentation, Gonzalo “Old Man” Diaz led the group in singing “La Bomba Va,” a traditional Cuban drinking song that has closed out the Rasco for many years. Thanks to Coconut Grove Sailing Club and all the volunteers. And thanks to Carmen and Old Man Diaz for a great party Saturday night!
