After everyone had hauled out and cleaned up, the regatta officially opened with speeches from Gwyneth Crook, Lori Lowe, and various representatives of the Royal Nassau Sailing Club and Bahamian government. Each country’s flag was raised with a short snippet from each national anthem. Let the Worlds begin!
The forecast for tomorrow is right on the cusp of Masters-appropriate (max 15 knots), but if possible we’ll sail two races interrupted by lunch around the RNSC pool.
