Snipe North Americans – Day 2
Three races were fit in by a very patient race committee today. The first was (as expected) sailed in a very light southeast wind, but after an hour of waiting a decent southerly filled in that even got crews and skippers into the hiking straps by the last leg. Photo courtesy Ted Morgan

Doug Hart/Ryan Hopps continue to lead the scoreboard, but they are now tied with George Szabo/Diana Waterbury. And once a drop race kicks in (after one more race), Augie Diaz/Julia Melton and Randy Lake/Nikki Bruno are also within striking distance. The forecast for tomorrow is thunderstorms in the afternoon, so we will have to wait and see what happens.
Tonight’s dinner is crabs, hamburgers, and hot dogs—and the beer truck is still flowing.
