Objective:
The Roy Yamaguchi Memorial Trophy is emblematic of the Women’s World Championship and it is awarded to the winning skipper and crew.
For mantaining the right to hold a World Championship, the World Sailing requires: at least 30 boats, 5 countries and 2 continents (North and South America are considered 2 continents).
In the last editions unfortunately, the Snipe Women’s World Championship has not reached the standards required by World Sailing to be called a World championship.
The objective of this proposals is to award the the Roy Yamaguchi Memorial Trophy to the winning skipper and crew, although the event (Snipe Women’s Championship) doesn’t reach the standards required by World Sailing to be called World Championship.
