2024 Measurers’ Handbook

The 2024 Measurers’ Handbook in now online.

The Handbook is updated to the latest approved Class Rules in force from January 1st and fully complies with the World Sailing’s ERS and RRS.

This new edition contains several improvements and specifications on how to measure a boat, new photos and a special section about measurement at events, either on site or remote. Samples of measurement instructions and “check sheets” have been added to the handbook. The editable documents can be downloaded from the snipe.org web site.

This version is valid until the end of 2024, when the new Class Rules and RRS will be published.

If you are a measurer it is worth reading it to check if the procedures you use are correct, if you are a sailor reading it will help you better understand the rules and present yourself fully compliant on the race course.
