The first race on Saturday began with winds of 20-25 mph with gusts to 28 mph.  Three boats capsized trying to leave the dock.  Only seven of the 23 boats made it to the starting line and six managed to stay upright for the race, even with the gusts building to 33 mph.  The second race was postponed for about three hours waiting for the wind to abate somewhat and two races were held after 5:30 PM.  On the second day the winds were perfect 14-17mph with gusts only to 20mph or so…
