Rocky Mountain Snipe Championship

Longmont, CO, USA, September 22, 2019

Twenty-one total teams gathered near the base of the Rockies to participate in the Rocky Mountain Snipe Championships at Union Reservoir in Longmont Colorado on Sep 21-22, 2019.  One team each from New Hampshire, Oklahoma and Texas, and two from Nebraska joined the Colorado sailors for a total of six races under mostly clear blue skies with a great view of Long’s Peak.  Winds of varying velocity and big shifts made for some close racing and lots of opportunities for major changes in positions.
