The Snipe Class will hold the 2021 Western Hemisphere & Orient Championship on September 21-25 in Boston, MA. Due to the pandemic, the biennial event was postponed one year, now attracting a smaller turnout of 27 entries representing six nations – Brazil, Chile, Peru, Guatemala, Mexico, and USA.

Reigning champions Ernesto Rodriguez and crew Kathleen Tocke (USA) will defend the trophy, seeking to add this title to their 2021 victories at the Snipe European and North American Championship. Rodriguez also won the 2014 North Americans at this same venue.

The forecast looks good with nine races scheduled.
