Open European Championship

For the first time in the history of the European Snipe the European Championship will have an open character. As a result of voting, the event has been decided to be opened by the majority of European fleets. The regatta will take a form of two separate competitions: for the regatta winner and for the best European competitor. The winners of the two categories will be awarded. The organisers have taken lots of efforts to acquire numerous sponsors to make the event attractive. I must also highlight a great involvement of the authorities of the Zachodniopomorskie Province and the mayor of Kamień Pomorski (the event venue). Each day the sport events will be accompanied by a rich artistic programme — e.g.performances of folk groups and local stars. The best competitors of a particular day will be also awarded.
