Born in Cádiz (Spain), on November 19, 1968,
I am responsible for the facilities and maintenance of Hospital “Universitario Puerta del Mar” in Cadiz.
I have begun my career as measurer in 1991, with Manolo Bernal (famous Snipe sailor), in the Raceboard European Championship.
After that I attended the Olympic Classes Championship the same year.

In 1992 I served at the Olympic Class World Championships (Mundo Vela’92) and appointed as National Measurer for the Tornado Class.
After the end of Mundo Vela’92, I was invited to attend the Olympics Games in Barcelona’92 as a measurer with Niki Nocke.
After some years far from sailing, when back in 2000 I was appointed as National Measurer of the Europe Class, then International Measurer in 2003, serving all National, European and International Championships.
Since then, I have measured in national and international championships of Finn, Optimist, Patin, One meter, Snipe …
Within the Snipe class I assisted Pepe Perez in many Championships including the 2016 Europeans and 2017 Worlds in Spain.
I was then asked to replace Antonio Espada as Chief Measurer of the Snipe Class, position that I will be honoured to hold beginning 2018.
