Eight Bells: Fernando Massó

Spanish champion in 1952 with his cousin Jaime, and in 1964 with his other cousin, Tomás, Fernando Massó died last Tuesday at age 89 in Vigo (Spain). A pioneer of the class at Spain’s oldest fleet, 136 of the Real Club Náutico De Vigo. He also won the 1972 Iberian Championship and competed at the Europeans in 1964, 1972, 1974, 1976 and 1978.
