From Lori Lowe:

If you’ve never sailed in Nassau or, perhaps you’ve forgotten why you should come to sail in Nassau.
Then today was the day to provide the reminder. 18 knots with gusts to 21, warm, clear, clean, water, and lots of waves to plane on.

This allows for Screaming reaches and also screaming muscles. So what would you do for a nice hot tub to soak in?
Of course, I’m local so it is a bit chilly air at 80 degrees and water at 83 degrees.

Instead we have the Commodore’s party with the best Conch Chowder anywhere and a great social atmosphere to wind down with.

If you think your hard core you can go play with the spring break crowd, if not you can go home to gear up for another fabulous day tomorrow.

Bacardi Cup Final results
Birger beat Jimmie on a tie break, Ferdie right behind keeping them honest. Robert in 4th with top Lady skipper Hanna_Lena

We were close to the limit in the afternoon but the wind gods abated enough for the first race of the Gamblin, which went off without a hitch save that in the second reach of the second triangle Ferdie’s mast exploded from probable long term internal salt damage breaking in three places. There was no other carnage, a testament to the small but experienced fleet.

Everyone is waiting for tomorrow with bated breath.
