I feel better if the determined area is restricted by some measurements like "between 1500㎜ to 3500㎜".
This is because cockpit shapes are different to each builder and that can be superior or inferior to some boats.

Thanks Aoi for the suggestion.
To establish a mandatory position as you suggest would be the best. That was the proposal submitted last year, which did not pass.
That’s why I submitted a simpler proposal, every builder can easily adopt.
I also don’t believe that the corrector weights position is so important. The goal is to reach the minimum MOI and prevent that boats are built with light extremities.
