“Barbanera I” was built by Aldo Brezich (Giorgio’s dad), on the plans of his cousin Giuseppe Fabian, chief carpenter at Cantiere Navalgiuliano, in Porto Lido. During the weekends  Renato Zuliani, Danilo D’Isiot and Mariano Craglietto, all boat builders and expert Snipe sailors, often came and follow the works on Barbanera I.
