Master Worlds, a Truly World-Class Event

Fukuoka, Japan (August 31, 2014) – More important than the trophies was the teamwork that made the 2014 Snipe World Championship of Masters possible. A heartfelt thank you to the scores of Hakata Yacht Club juniors and Fukuoka University sailors who brought such a cool energy to the event and helped to run just about every aspect of the regatta from onshore administration and measurement, to sometimes unnecessarily elaborate rigging, to neck-deep wet boat launching, to drone piloting, to wind seeking, to nursing, to cooking, to watermelon delivery, to security detail, to drum performances, to bartending, to photo bombing, to tireless encouragement. It definitely took an army to create a truly world-class event. Thank you.
