SCIRA Announces 2024 Hall of Fame Inductees

The SCIRA Hall of Fame honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Snipe Class and Snipe competition.
The Class is honoring three categories: Sailing, Technical Design and Contributors – people who made significant contributions to the Snipe Class.
For this 6th year, a maximum of five inductees were considered. Here are the inductees for 2024: 5 individuals who have made & left their mark on the Snipe Class:
- Bruno Bethlem
- Andre Callot
- Nelido Manso
- Enrico Michel
- John Rose
- Bruno Bethlem (BRA): 2X Snipe World Champion (with Dante Bianchi)
- Andre Callot (BEL): great promoter of the Snipe Class in Belgium
- Nelido Manso (CUB): Snipe World Champion (with Octavio Lorenzo)
- Enrico Michel (ITA): great sailor and boat builder (DB Marine)
- John Rose (USA): sailor, snipe historian, snipe collector, contributor (1935-2022)
