Regatta Report by Kathleen Tocke

Day 1:

Two races in a crazy shifty and gusty north easterly breeze from the land. First race was a double triangle and the second a windward-leeward. Lots of general recalls and postponements due to the fickle wind.

Interview with Evan Hoffmann and Shira Golub

Day 2:

Three races in a very windy and gusty westerly breeze from the land. Downwinds were often dicey with winds gusting over 20 knots. Rodriguez & Tocke won the first two races, but the final and windiest race with gusts topping 25 knots was won by young Annapolis sailors, Sarah Alexander and Hollis Barth who led the race wire to wire.

Interview with Sarah Alexander and Hollis Barth

Day 3:

Final day two races in more shifty breeze from the land. Brazilians Bruno Bethlem & Dante Bianchi won the first race of the day and Enrique Queinter & Charlie Bess the second race. The Race Committee attempted a third race, but due to unstable winds, abandoned and sent the fleet in.
