Kantvik Ranking Regatta

Finnish Polar Bears challenging Autumn conditions

 

The ​last Ranking Regatta collected ten Snipe teams in Kantvik, close to Helsinki. Conditions were a bit challenging as wind was such low as 1-2 m/s and temperature went below 0 degrees Celsius during night time. Well, daily a bit warmer and sunny though.

 

Anyhow, four races could be sailed. Masters Championship was won by brand new European Vice Secretary Reino Suonsilta – Mirja-Liisa Marttila. The overall winner of the last Ranking Regatta was father-daughter team Mikko and Viivi Valjus.
