The Snipe class is set for a busy period with three major championships taking place in less than a month, starting this week in San Diego, USA, and concluding in Vilamoura, Portugal.

Snipe North American Championship
August 22-24, San Diego, USA
The first event is the North American Championship at the San Diego Yacht Club. With 33 boats registered, the competition will feature three days of racing from Friday, August 22, to Sunday, August 24.

Snipe Western Hemisphere & Asia Championship (WH&A)
September 1-6, San Diego, USA
Following the North Americans, the San Diego Yacht Club will host the Western Hemisphere & Asia Championship. This “closed event”, with country-specific quotas, will see 28 boats from eight nations compete over six days. The championship runs from Tuesday, September 2, to Saturday, September 6.

Snipe European Championship
September 7-13, Vilamoura, Portugal
The series of championships concludes in Vilamoura, Portugal, with the Snipe European Championship. This open event has attracted 85 boats from 12 countries. The competition begins with a practice race on September 8 and continues with four days of racing, ending on Saturday, September 13.
