Eight Bells: Miyuki Kai

Snipe legend Miyuki Kai passed away yesterday, while he was sailing off Enoshima, Japan. He fell into the water at 2:00 PM and his death was confirmed at the hospital,

Miyuki Kai won the 470 World Championship in 1979. In the Snipe he was third at the Worlds in Buenos Aires (1985) and second at the WH&O in Asuncion (1984).

Until yesterday he was very active in the Snipe Class and a nice friend of many of us.
