For this event, 20 Competitive Snipes with crew will be available and depending on the number of registered champions they will compete in 1 or 2 pools. The Snipes are voted randomly before each start and the owner or crew designated by the owner, will always sail with the same Snipe. The last race is the medal race and the champion of the champions is the best of the pool races and the medal race that will count double. Our Belgium Champions Yannick Laumans and Dries Crombé will have to compete against each other with a possibility that Manu Hens will crew one of them. Also Ben Van Cauwenbergh, the Belgian Champion in Dragon Class has the pleasure to sail one more time in the Snipe. We hope to see Evi Van Acker sailing in Snipe, She is our Belgian proud in Laser Woman Radial (Silver and Bronze Olympic and present vice World champion)
It is an ideal promotion for the Snipe class in Belgium. For this event the traditional media will be present. And of course and as usual the members of SCIRA.BE, we will outsource ourselves to make this event, the one, sailors will never forget. our motto : Serious Sailing, Serious Fun
