2020 Measurers’ Handbook

The 2020 edition of Measurers’ Handbook is now online at

updated to the latest rules amendments and official interpretations approved by World Sailing.

This version includes new photos, more detailed step by step instructions, extended recalls to the Class Rules and a new section regarding the weighing.

The document is in A4 and Letter format to fit the page size in use in each country.

The current version is in low resolution for viewing. Printing is possible, but not recommended.

The high resolution version for home printing will soon be available.

The SCIRA Measurers’ Handbook must be used together with the 2018-2020 Class Rules (2020 edition) and the World Sailing Equipment Rules of Sailing. Both documents are downloadable from the Rules Section at snipe.org.

The Handbook is a must for every measurer, but is a good reference for any sailor who takes care of the the rules compliance of his Snipe.
