Barbanera III

I – 13908 “Barbanera III”, designed by D’Isiot, was built in okoume (purchased from Bariffi & Wuschlager in Lugano, Switzerland) by Giorgio’s father. The mainsail is a Parovel, designed for the bending boom (with the mainsheet system in the middle, without the bridle). The photo was taken in Sistiana (Gulf of Trieste) in 1965 during the “Coppa Barbanera” won by Massone and Zezzo with their Snipe “Zal III”.
