A Trophy from the 1947 Snipe Worlds

Found! This is the first world championship trophy from 1947 regatta in Geneva, Switzerland, won by Ted Wells. My mom picked it up at his estate sale and had been forgotten in her house. It is being donated to the Mystic Museum to be with his boat ‘Good News III’ already in the museum.
