Nishinomiya, Japan, March 22, 2026. The second day of the “March 2026 Kansai Student Open Regatta” concluded with no races held. The four races completed on the first day will stand as the final results.

In the Snipe class, Daiki Takeda and Shogo Kumakura (Kansai University) took the student title (4th place overall). This victory marks consecutive Open Regatta titles for Takeda. “While I’m happy to have finished as the top student, I felt our boat speed is still lacking compared to the senior sailors. I will continue practicing to reach our goal of winning the All Japan Intercollegiate Championship and securing a single-digit finish in the individual standings,” said Daiki Takeda.
