Kansai Student Fall Championship

Nishinomiya, Japan, November 30, 2025. The Kansai Student Yacht Fall Championship was held off the coast of Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, on November 29th and 30th. Gōto Miura & Yūka Uemura from Kwansei Gakuin University won in the Snipe class.

The event, which ran a total of three races over two days, contradicted the long-standing saying passed down through generations in the Kansai region: “The Fall Intercollegiate always blows [has strong winds].”

In the Snipe Class, Miura / Uemura secured 1st place with 2-5-(7). Ren Hirota / Yūto Yoshida (Kwansei Gakuin University) took 2nd with 6-(10)-3, and Naoya Ōshima / Masahiro Nobumoto (Kobe University) finished 3rd with (34)-12-4.
