This past weekend, on March 23rd and 24th, the Clube de Campo de São Paulo at the Guarapiranga Lake, São Paulo, Brazil held the first edition of the Taça Clube de Campo de São Paulo. Thirty five snipes participated in the competition, which was consisted of five races.
Saturday was marked by stronger and more gusty winds, ensuring plenty of excitement for all the sailors. Sunday saw similarly gusty winds, but much weaker, leading to intense competition in the last two races, with four boats fighting for the victory.
In the end, with the discard of one race, the Snipe Divas Carolina Sacconi and Mariana Peccicacco got the title, winning both races of the day. In second place were Carlos Fanucchi and Pedro Apud. Completing the podium were Eduardo Antão and Ellion Santana. This was a multi class event, and the Snipe class had more sailors than all others!
