Great regatta this weekend. Seven great races in 85 degrees and sunny. Local hotshot Paul Abdullah and Nancy Gilreath won the tie breaker over Peter and Connie Commette. Ernesto and RJ Rodriguez were close in third.

Thanks to all those who came from Boston, Atlanta, Miami and Charleston. Yes, you too can come and sail in Jacksonville.

It was a great family weekend with the Guarangas, Winebeckers and Gilreaths with three family members sailing or running the races. That’s what Snipe sailing is about.

Thanks to Greg Griffin, PRO; Jodi Winebecker, Waterfront Director and the FYC staff for running a great regatta. It was hard to beat Saturday after six races hanging by the FYC pool taking in the views of the city and the seabreeze.
