Two Young Japanese Sailors are Campaigning for the Mini Transat 2027

Japanese Snipe sailors Koki Sawada (Doshisha University) and Kodai Endo (University of Tokyo) are transitioning to offshore racing to campaign for the 2027 Mini Transat. Both athletes were prominent figures in the competitive Japanese university circuit, with Sawada notably securing a 4th place finish at the All Japan Intercollegiate Individual Snipe Championship and 3rd in the team division. After honing their tactical skills in the Snipe class, the duo has now joined the DMG MORI Sailing Academy to begin their training in France.
