It is with great sadness we share that Dick C. Bartlett passed away yesterday. DickC was instrumental in founding SSA at its current location and continued to support SSA and the Snipe Fleet throughout his life. DickC always loved the Snipe, serving as PRO for many Snipe regattas in the 1970s, helping start a fleet at Coronado Yacht Club while he was briefly stationed there, and donating to support Fleet 532 events to the end. He supported both daughter Linda and son Jonathan to sail Snipes in the 1970-80’s. Do yourself a favor and read The Breeze article from May to be inspired on how to have a life well-lived.
