Campeões pan-americanos da classe snipe em 1967, Nelson Piccolo e Carlos Henrique De Lorenzi venceram no mesmo ano o Campeonato Mundial, disputado nas Bahamas.

Carlos Henrique De Lorenzi "Deda" is the permanent race judge of LIneburger Cup. In the last seventeen years, he´s been making wonderful races in our Esteves Lake (Alberto Lineburger´s born place in Brazil). Alberto indeed, built the famous "Simbad" (photo), one of the twenty boats that he made for the 1959 Snipe World´s in Porto Alegre - Brazil.
