Dashing through the waves, across a sunlit bay

Out to the course we sail, laughing all the way 

HA HA HA!

Starting guns go off, making spirits bright

What fun it is to sail against a fleet of many Snipes

 

Oh—let’s go race, let’s go race

Call the time just right

All we want for Christmas is 

The chance to sail our Snipes

 

Now several years ago, we started SnipeToday

A site for all our friends, a chance to have our say

Now every time we sail, the Snipe world knows the score 

And if you send us your results it’ll grow to even more!

 

Oh—let’s go race, let’s go race

Call the time just right

All we want for Christmas is 

The chance to sail our Snipes

 

Back to the dock we sail, and what that’s over head?

A sleigh flies o’er the waves, a festive flash of red

Santa calls “ho-ho”, making spirits bright

But we’ve already got our gifts—the chance to race our Snipes
