Unlike yesterday, the second day began with strong winds blowing since early morning. By 9:00 AM, the red flag was hoisted at the harbor, keeping all boats ashore. With no improvement in conditions, the AP over A flag was displayed at 12:46 PM, and all races were officially cancelled.
The results from Day 1 will stand as the final standings. In the Snipe Class, following a scoring correction, Kansai Gakuin University A claimed victory, edging out Osaka Metropolitan University A by a narrow margin of 0.4 points. Consequently, Kansai Gakuin University A was crowned the overall champion (470+Snipe).

Our positions at the first windward mark weren’t ideal for any of our three boats, but this result is a testament to how we fought back in the second half of the race. During the winter, we focused on basic drills and actively engaged other universities in joint course practice. At the Enoshima Week (Kanto Snipe) at the end of May, we want to gauge where we stand and gain more experience.’ (Ren Hirota, Snipe Class Leader)
