Snipes are back in Los Angeles!

Last weekend we had a great turnout with seven Snipes racing on the ocean outside of Marina del Rey. Newly elected fleet captain Gabe Rios with crew Chloe Rodriguez had a nearly perfect score in five races to take the day in very light to light wind.
Snipe fleet 24 has a history dating back from the late 1930’s to the 1960’s but was dormant until 2013. Resurrected to support a group of ambitious wooden Snipes(still here!) the focus has pivoted to modern racing in the last couple of years.

Serious racing, serious fun – we will be even more visible in the future.
