1997 LLSC One Design Regatta
August 2 & 3
A weekend fleet race event for : MC Scows, Snipe, C-15, Laser and other classes with 5 or more boats. All fleets have separate starts & scoring. Open Portsmouth fleet for all other boats. Casino Gambling after Saturday dinner.
Reduced Fees: thanks to sponsorship by Lake Lanier Sailing Club, Club members & juniors pay no entry fees this year, although they still need to pay for meals.
Regatta Information:
Rules: The regatta will be governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the One Design Regatta Sailing Instructions, the LLSC Sailing Instructions, and the class rules of each boat.
One Design Regatta & LLSC Sailing Instructions: The sailing instructions will be available after 10:00 AM on Saturday August 2.
Trophies: Trophies for the top two boats in each fleet.
Camping & Hotels: Camping & hot showers at LLSC. The following motels are within 10 miles
