The Italian Sailing Federation, The Snipe Class International Racing Association and the Snipe Class International Racing Association of Italy are pleased to invite Snipe women sailors to take part in the Women's World Championship to be held in Gulf of Trieste (Italy) 28th August - 3rd September 2000.

3. Rules
The regatta will be governed by the 1997-2000 ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing (R.R.S.), the 1997-2000 Scira Rules, the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions.

4. Eligibility
This regatta is open to SCIRA registered boats and SCIRA women skippers and crews who are in good standing with the Class. The skippers shall be citizens or bona fide residents of the represented country.

Boats shall comply with the Class rules and have a valid measurement certificate and the MDS form on SCIRA office files. The sail number shall conform to the measurement form according to the Class Rules.

5. Entries
Entry fees is in US$150.00 per boat before 31st July 2000; US$ 200.00 after July 31st.

A pool of race-ready Snipes will be available for charter. They will be of class A (less than 5 years old) or class B (less than 10 years old). Priority will be given to competitors coming outside Europe.

HOUSING INFORMATION
STV will provide, free of charge, the opportunity of accomodation in club member private boats. Since the avaiability will be limited, priority will be given to competitors coming from outside Europe, on a first-come, first-served basis by lottery.

Trieste has hotels at less than 15 min from STV, with rates ranging from TBD to TBD. Moreover will be provided a very cheep accomodation ina Youth Hostel, at 5 min from STV.
