Homestay opportunities will be provided free of charge, however, competitors or officials who prefer to stay in hotels have a large range of choices. A list of hotels with descriptions, estimated rates, and distance to SSA are provided below. NOTE: The United States Boat Show will be in town and hotels will fill early. Please plan ahead if you would like to stay in a hotel.
HOMESTAYS
Homestays will be provided on a first come, first serve basis for competitors. A few homestays will be within walking distance, though most will require the competitors renting a car. Homestays will also be provided for the International Jury, SCIRA Flag Officers, the Rules Committee Chairman, and the Executive Director. HOTELS
Hotels listed in the first group are more expensive, but closer to the club and generally nicer, more luxurious hotels. The hotels in the second group are within 8 miles of the club, less expensive, and are more "mainstream" hotels. Many of these hotels offer shuttle services to downtown Annapolis. The last group is a small sample of Bed & Breakfasts close to SSA. These are more likely to be expensive, but in walking distance of SSA.
