South European Championships
Sanremo Italy
March 27-29

30 competitors from 6 countries (Belgium, France, England, Sweden, Norway
and Italy) at the European South Championship in Sanremo, at Eastern.

We sailed 5 races, with light-medium wind conditions. The last day we found
a strong east wind with 25-30 knots and the jury didn't start the race. 

The climate was fantastic during all the Championship, sunny and warm.
Winner was the local crew Solerio-Solerio, second our Past Commodore
Giorgio Brezich with Manola Reis. The regatta was very hard, with a
different winner every race. Only Giogio win two races, but he arrived second!

The organisation was very good on the sea and on land.
We had perfect courses, with good start lines (we never have a general recall)
The race committee used always the SCIRA courses (the best courses),we have
4 windward/leeward and one Olimpic. 

On land, every evening the Sanremo Yacht Club organised a party, and the
econd evening we has a interesting course about the new ISAF Rules.
