Jim and Lynn Grubbs had rigging problems on the first race, but then
won the next five races and placed first in the Snipes
overall. Charles and Graham Heimler were the most consistent Snipe
team finishing second. Vince Casalaina and Trish Moratorio were first
at the end of Saturday, but did not compete on Sunday finishing third
overall. Cory Birnberg and Mickey Fausett broke their mast under gusty
conditions in the third race.

Fourteen boats competed including eight Snipes in this Small Boat
Racing Association event. Saturday's southwesterly winds were 10 kph
with gusts to 18. Sunday's winds were shifty from the north at 5 kph.
