SOUTH AMERICAN'S POSTPONED Print E-mail
The South American Championships, scheduled for April 1-4 in Algarobbo, Chile, has been postponed until possibly Sept. or October, in order to let our Snipe sailors in Chile recover from the epic earthquake and devestation.   Chilean Snipe National Secretary Tomas Rodriguez has been in contact with Martin Dovat, WH&O General Secretary and reports that in general they are in good condition.  Our thoughts go out to the Chilean Snipe sailors and fellow countrymen during this restoration time.  The SA championship will remain with Chile until they can find a suitable date to reschedule, possibly in September or October of 2010.
