Fleet 532 welcomes everyone to the 1999 Frigid Digit in Annapolis. October 

is the best time of the year to sail on the Chesapeake with cooler 

temperatures and great breeze. We will again be running the Snipe Frigid 

Digit in conjunction with the SSA Lightning fleet Frigid Digit. We have 

done this with great success two years in a row and this year looks to be 

even better as we are planning a LIVE BAND and catered dinner.



As a special event, John Manderson will be moderating a forum along with 

the top sailors at the regatta to talk about Saturday's racing over a 

couple beers. The format will be in the form of question and answer after 

brief comments by the leaders on their strategies for the day. We'll have 

an area set aside at the club for this forum for about an hour. This is a 

SUPERB IDEA John, and I look forward to doing it often at Annapolis 

regattas and others. Hats off to John for the suggestion.



Format:

5 races (3 Saturday, 2 Sunday). No races start after 2:00 pm on Sunday.



Entry fee:

$60 includes dinner, (virtual) beer truck, LIVE BAND, trophies, 

participation gift and lots of racing!



Trophies:

Embroidered Fleece Blankets awarded to the top 3 skippers and crews.
