Come one come all to Newport, RI, home of the newly reawakened Fleet 017 and this year's Atlantic Coast Championships. Dates are July 17-18, in conjunction with the Newport Regatta, which inlcudes a range of one designs from J-24's to Ynglings. Our circle will be inside Narragansett Bay, promising good breeze and moderate chop. Registration is $60, which includes free beer and light food after sailing. Limited housing available upon request but sorry, not in the mansions. This will be the first time since 1991 that the Newport fleet has hosted an event and the last chance to tune up for Nationals, so please join us and enjoy the great conditions ashore and afloat Newport has to offer! No entry will be accepted after Thursday, July 15, 1999. The signed skipper & crew waivers are also required with the entry form and payment. In section #4 on the entry form, just a reminder that the $30 trailer storage/hoist fee is not required for Snipes who will ramp launch. And regarding launching... Dollies will be found for those not wishing to hoist launch and if you have one, please bring it along.
