Eve downtown St. Petersburg party badges can be obtained from
the Chamber of Commerce. Guest privileges at SPYC will be
available to regatta participants through your yacht club

COMPETITOR'S MEETING: at the St. Petersburg Sailing Center,

SAILING AREA: Located on the western side of Tampa Bay
directly off the St. Petersburg Pier; hoists and floating

at the foot of First Ave. South.
CHARTERS: A limited number of charter boats will be available
for international sailors; call early for reservations.
PRIZES: The Jim Brown Memorial Trophy is awarded to the top
finisher, with keeper trophies awarded to both skipper and
crew of the top three finishing yachts. Additional awards
at the event chairman's discretion. Team racing trophies
are separate.
HOUSING: There are many hotels nearby. Also there are Snipe
sailors and SPYC members that are offering homestays, call for
the connection.
Baby sitters will be available if prior arrangements are made.
Team racing:
By popular demand, we have added a day of team racing to this regatta,
instead of single-handed racing. Each team must have three boats;
dig-up your old college team and bring them with you. Practice
with your friends, or just show up and we will match you with
other snipers already here. This is sure to be a fun event.
